Welcome to the Buckeye Lake Village website.

The Village of Buckeye Lake is a community of 3,049 residents according to the 2000 census. The incorporated portion of the village is primarily located in Licking County with a small portion of land located in Fairfield County. The community covers approximately 1,159 acres or 1.81 square miles. The Village is adjacent to I-70, with State Routes 79 and 360 running through the village allowing all residents and businesses quick, easy access to everything that the central Ohio area has to offer.


Buckeye Lake Village is situated on the north side of Buckeye Lake, a 3,300 acre lake and Ohio’s 1st State park, which affords many recreational opportunities to its visitors including boating, fishing, water skiing, swimming, picnicking, ice skating, ice fishing, snowmobiling, ice boating, shopping, walking and camping.

The village has a diverse mix of residential housing opportunities including single-family housing (waterfront and non-waterfront), condominiums, apartments, and a senior citizen housing community.
